How To Prepare Kids For Adversity As Children of LGBTQ+ or Polyamorous Families

If you are in a polyamorous and/or LGBTQ+ relationship, please know that we see you and we honor you! We see the love you have for your child(ren) and we see the fear that you have for them. The number one thing you should know is that it is NORMAL to want to protect your child(ren) from the world and make sure that they’re never hurt.

This video is part of our Consult a Therapist Series: Parenting Concerns. Rebecca Williams, LMFT discusses how you can protect your child from bullying and prepare them for adversity when they are part of a polyamorous and/or LGBTQ+ family. Because WE know that it can be painful as a parent when you think that who you are and who you love could bring ostracism to your child(ren).
