Casey Angulo, Owner

What inspired you to open your business in Riverside?

Several years ago Casey started having some getting older aches and pains (sigh...). Having loved yoga in the past she decided to get serious about it and address these issues. Not only did it get rid of these problems, it has made her life so much easier. Things like picking her kids toys up off the floor became a snap. She has more strength and loves the stress relief. She also has fun party tricks like standing on her head. She thinks practicing yoga is the fountain of youth. When the previous owner Lauren moved she felt so strongly about keeping Reveille alive that she purchased the yoga studio-- (on May 1st, 2015)! Casey loves yoga but she doesn’t instruct at Reveille; she’s hired a team of skilled and kind yoga teachers to cover the variety of classes happening every day at Reveille.

What kind of services do you provide?

Yoga classes and now online live yoga classes too!

How do your services help couples live better lives and get more of what they want and need?

Yoga improves flexibility, builds strength, balance, joint health, mental calmness and prevents back pain. It is also a fun community to be a part of. We work with people of all kinds, all body shapes and sizes, and all skill levels. You may be surprised to know that many men take our classes. Yoga is evolving beyond past stereotypes.

I’ve never been to a yoga studio before, where should I start?

Your first class can be a private session or a beginners group class. You are encouraged to move at your own pace and to listen to your body. The instructors will give you modifications if any poses just don’t work for your body. Sometimes students can be a little sore after a first class. That is normal. You may need to skip a day and thats okay. Keep coming and your will be surprised at the progress you can make in just in a couple weeks.
